International Theatre Festival for Children «Different 15», Arts Printing House, Vilnius

Often adult interaction is wrapped in various canons of behaviour and the behaviour of children is bound by bans. It is understandable that the life of the little ones in the world of «No-s» and «Don’t-s» may at times be not fun… Adults forbid things to protect their children, and sometimes even not knowing why, adults forbid things because it is the easy way out. During these theatre performances silent questions will be asked: how does a colour smell? …Why are we different? Is differing bad or good? What does it taste and how does it sound? Until the colours pour out of the bodies and take over the room…

Vilnius Comedy Fest, Theatre Arena, Vilnius;

Vilnius is about to host its first international comedy festival – «Vilnius Comedy Fest» organized by «Another Angle», the only professional improvisation theatre in Lithuania.

During the festival, the organizers have planned 3 international and several Lithuanian shows of comedy masters. All events are special; each covers a different genre of comedy: from stand up performances for young people to the laughter theatre for the whole family.

«Another Angle», the only professional improvisation theatre in Lithuania, intensely sharing a good dose of humour, will open the first comedy festival «Vilnius Comedy Fest» this season. It will be the exclusive performance of «Another Angle» in the comedy festival program: all improvisational experience gained on stage in five years will be presented for the assessment of the viewers in a slightly different form.

You offer song titles and the Beardyman writes songs with them. They will not be heard by any other city and, in general, by no one else – only by those who at the time have been together with Beardyman in the Theatre Arena. This guy knows not only how to capture all possible attention of the audience, but also how to roughen the skin hair of the audience and cause the waves of laughter and creativity.

Godfrey’s environment is customary for the American: Nigerian parents, was born and grew up in Chicago, was a difficult pupil and the class clown – but precisely because of that his humour includes worldly experiences, social issues, relationships and, of course, world politics.

Now Godfrey is a well-known American actor, who starred with another famous U.S. comedian Ben Stiller, as well as rapper Snoop Dogg, Queen Latifah and others.

This is a theatre, a circus and humour that children will not be able to take their eyes off and adults will be fascinated by the performance.

It creatively chops off any language or cultural barriers; they are understood throughout the world. The company members appeal to common human feelings, good mood, the original image and the agreed sounds without words.

The physical expression is the language of these actors by which they interact with the audience, often involving them into a fairy tale, which is being created during the entire performance.
