CEOs admit – it is getting harder and harder to find new workers

Baltic news, News from Latvia, BNN.LV, BNN-NEWS.COM, BNN-NEWS.RUStudy results show that 60% of businesses admit it is getting harder and harder to find workers. This marks more complex personnel selection processes for employers, which often costs more time and money.

According to results of the study by CV-Online, 57% of personnel managers have plans to use one of many personnel management solutions in the next 12 months.

With the number of vacancies growing in the labour market and the number of available candidates declining, competition for the best specialists increases every year. More than 60% respondents said it is currently much harder to find employees than it was a year ago.

«Under these conditions it is important to form a positive image for employers. This can be done with positive feedback from candidates. We can start with coming up with simple, comprehensible and quick application submission process and following up with successful integration of new employees,» explains CV-Online manager Aivis Brodins.

Personnel management officials often face many different challenges. This includes deficit among highly qualified professionals, the conflict of generations at work and changes in employee behaviour and requirements for employers, the study concluded.

Also, going alongside the times and studying the labour market situation, ERDA (Electrical Research and Development Association) founder Zane Culkstena is confident that it is necessary to look for innovative recruitment solutions. Chat robots and social media are the tools that offer partially automated recruitment process and a wider potential job seeker audience.

CakeHR business development manager Janis Dubinskis shares his observations: «Although we have seen new personnel management trends appearing nearly every year, one certainty has remained the same over the years – personnel management is invaluable when combined with analytical and progressive technologies.»

    There are workers looking for Job especially young graduates are victims. Just that the employers are not honest with their employment process. Most at times they are looking for experienced people but forgetting that a young graduate can grow in the company and become experienced. Rather the employers resolve not to employ them. Send Cv they will never reply to you.
