Minimum wages in Latvia will not be larger than EUR 370

During the meeting of the National Council for Trilateral Cooperation on Monday, 31 August, the government and members of Latvian Employers’ Confederation and Free Trade Union Confederation of Latvia reached an agreement that minimum wages in Latvia would rise somewhere between EUR 360 and EUR 370 next year.

In Q2 2015 the average monthly gross wages and salaries in the country accounted for EUR 815. Compared to Q2 the previous year, they have increased by 6.9%, slightly overtaking annual increase rate of 6.3% in Q1 2015.
