-Latvian Employers’ Confederation holds a discussion on the topic of ‘Latvia in the common EU market – 10 years. What are the skills Latvian entrepreneurs picked up there?’

-Free Trade Union Confederation of Latvia holds a conference on the importance of labour safety. The conference is dedicated to the International Day of Labour Protection.

-Agriculture Ministry organizes a discussion on common European matters on agricultural policy.

-Shareholder meetings in the following companies: Rīgas juvelierizstrādājumu rūpnīca; Remars-Rīga; Kurzemes ciltslietu un mākslīgās apsēklošanas stacija (Kurzemes CMAS).

-Auction to sell the central building of the now liquidated Latvijas Krajbanka located on J.Dalina Street 15 in Riga.

-Riga City Council holds an international conference ‘Real estate and construction in the Baltics 2014’.

-Specialists of Agriculture Ministry participate in a trip around the outskirts of St Petersburg. The goal of the three-day visit is exchange of experience in the field of development of aqua culture.

-A business visit of Latvian businessmen to USA. Businessmen will visit Boston, Washington and Philadelphia as part of their business trip. The delegation of entrepreneurs will be accompanying Latvian Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma, who will remain in USA until May 2nd.

Tuesday, April 29th:

-As part of the ‘8 elements of business success’ cycle of conferences, Maritim Park Hotel Riga will hold a conference on the topic of ‘Successful business strategy’ organized by LETA and SEB Bank.

– Consumer Rights Protection Centre holds a press conference dedicated to results of the inspection of the construction materials market and the situation at construction sites.

-The festive opening of the Riga Restaurants Spring Week will take place at the Latvian Union of Architects.

-Press-conference at the central Citadele Bank building. The conference is dedicated to the Paralympic Sports Day.

-Portofino Riga restaurant holds a discussion about men’s preferences when it comes to cosmetics.

-Bank of Latvia to announce results of the Latvian Coin of 2013 survey at the Naudas pasaule customer service centre.

-Riga restaurant Fabrikas restorāns holds a presentation ‘English beer culture’. This presentation will be dedicated to secrets and traditions of national beer brewing.

-Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia publishes information on changes in construction costs in March 2014 and results of the research of the structure of agriculture in 2013.

-Meeting of shareholders of Rīgas farmaceitiskā fabrika.

Wednesday, April 30th:

-Bosch Car Service and Safe Driving School organize an opportunity for all interested to perform a free technical inspection of vehicles at STATOIL Ulmanis 1 station in Riga.

-Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia reports data on retail trade turnover in March 2014, as well as information about prices and indexes of agricultural producers in 2013.

SRS uncovered violations in 169 inspections at catering companies last year

In 2017, the State Revenue Service (SRS) performed a total of 989 inspections at 212 catering companies. This includes 182 thematic inspections for 125 taxpayers. Violations were uncovered in 169 inspections. The most common violation was manipulation with cash registers, according to information published by SRS.
