Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

For the first time, the Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei spoke to his people with a call to prepare for war and the end of the world.

In his recent statement he asked the people to expect the twelfth, «hidden» coming of Imam Mahdi, who is expected to come during the Last Judgement to save the world and restore order to the Islamic world, Interfax reports.

«The issue about Imam Mahdi is very important, his coming is mentioned in our sacred religion,»- the Spiritual Leader said, adding that people should prepare for his coming.

«If we consider ourselves the soldiers of the twelfth Imam, we should be prepared for war under Allah’s guidance, and wit his unseen help we will achieve victory of the Islamic civilization on the global arena. This is our destiny,»- he says.

According to local media, a brochure entitled «The last six months» is being distributed in Iran, which calls for preparing for the coming of the Imam and resist the West. On top of that, the Revolutionary Guard has expressed a warning to the United States of America and Israel, noting that they would have to guess where Iranian warheads will be pointed at.

As it is known, not only Iran is expecting the end of the world to happen on December 21. According to the ancient Maya calendar, a big cycle of development of mankind, which lasted for 26 000 years, will conclude on this date.
