The first lady of Estonia runs two distances in the Olympic torch relay race
(No Ratings Yet)The wife of the President of Estonia – Evelin Ilves –, who participated in the relay race of the Olympic torch, ran two distances of 300 m, instead of one. «It was the roughest kilometre of my life,»- the first lady of Estonia shared her impressions.

Ilves ran a total of 900 m in the City of Doversm in Kent County, under the drizzling rain. «The torchbearer that was supposed to relay the torch to me was brought to the designated spot by boat, but because of the stormy weather he was struck by seasickness,»- said Ilves, who was forced to run not only for herself, but for the that other guy as well.
She admitted that she started slowing down at one point, but the support of the crowd helped successfully reach the destination. «The rainy and windy weather demanded force, but the cheering crowd along the road were supporting me,»- Ilves said.
Evelyn Ilves was invited to partake in the relay race of the Olympic torch by the partner of the Olympic race – Samsung Company along with the National Olympic Committee of Estiona, ITAR-TASS writes.
