-AB Dam, Sand Sculpture Park – Magic Sand Riga 2012. Sand Sculpture Park features parties on Fridays and Saturdays.

- Latvian Museum of Natural History – the Tomatoes and medicinal plants exhibition. This year’s exhibition will feature different kinds of tomatoes remembered only be old generation. Several new species from collectors from Germany, Russia and other countries will be presented.

Jurmala

Riga

Riga Motor Museum, Golden Model Riga 2012 express exhibition. Museum visitors will be able to have a look at 250 air, water and land vehicle models, as well as dioramas or spatial compositions that were hand made from carton, metal and plastic.

Cesis

16:00, Cesis St John’s Church – summer music concert cycle. Lelde Krastina (organ), Erika Jonite (vocal) and Elita Ezermale (fleute) perform for the audience.

Sigulda

12:00, Rainis Park, the opening of a reconstructed skate park. Event to be attended by DJ Mike Discoid, Hip-Hop singers – Sandis&Armija, Grafomans, Sigulda ielu nacija (Sigulda street nation) and Night&Day from Jelgava. Different attractions, contest and surprise gifts will go one throughout the day.

Sunday, August 26:

Riga

12:30, Verman Garden. Giant bunnies and dancing cookie packs – the Great Doll and Talisman Walk is a joyous and colourful event. Any large doll can participate; everyone interested can come and watch the festivities.
