-President of Latvia Andris Berzins meets with the Heads of delegation of the Ministries of Agriculture of the EU Member States.

-Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma meets with Vice-President of the European Commission on Energy Union Maros Stefkovich.

-Meeting of the Committee for Defence, Internal Affairs and Corruption Prevention on the eastern border of Latvia.

-Meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers Committee. During this meeting, officials will discuss the order of customs control in regard to respect of intellectual rights.

-Deputies of Latvian Regional Alliance meet with presidential candidate Egils Levits.

-Meeting of the Coalition Parties Council.

-Legislative initiative regarding legalization of marijuana to be submitted to the Saeima.

-Meeting of deputies of Latvian Regional Alliance. During this meeting, officials will discuss possible actions in regard to the possibility of Martins Bondars’ drop-out from elections.

Tuesday, 2 June:

-President of Latvia Andris Berzins meets with Welfare Minister Uldis Augulis.

-Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma to read a speech at the opening ceremony of the Praesidium of Copa-Cogesa organization, which represents the interests of farmers and farmer unions on European and international level.

-Meetings of standing Saeima committees:

Budget-Finance Committee to review amendments to Law on the Financial and Capital Market Commission, Law on Credit Institutions and Law on Financial Tools Market;

Legal Affairs Committee reviews amendments to the Civil Process Law;

Members of the Human Rights and Public Affairs Committee meet with representatives of Committee of the Nordic Council for the prevention and prevention of human trafficking;

Committee on Education, Culture and Science discusses the creation of a National Encyclopaedia;

Public Administration and Local Government Committee prepares amendments to the Law on Cooperative Communities;

-Agriculture Minister Janis Duklavs travels to Tukums.

-Meeting of the parliamentary Committee on Education, Culture and Science. During the meeting, deputies will prepare amendments to the Education Law in the third reading.

-Extraordinary meeting of the Saeima organized for the election of the next President of Latvia.

Thursday, 4 June:

-Meeting of the National Council for Development.

-Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma participates in the meeting of the Council for Combating Shadow economy and a student press-conference.

-Agriculture Minister Janis Duklavs visits Smiltene Impex facility in Smiltene.

-Welfare Minsiter Uldis Augulis travels to Kandava with a regional visit.

Friday, 5 June:

-Meeting of the parliamentary Committee for European Affairs, during which deputies will be presented information regarding EU Council of Ministers for Transport, Telecommunications and Energy.

-Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma meets with representatives of Riga’s Alliance of Active Seniors.
