What do you do when you wait for your flight at the airport? You likely eat, drink or walk around countless tax-free shops. However, there are many airports around the world that offer exciting diversions and forms of entertainment other airports do not have.

Singapore’s Changi Airport offers customers to cool off and relax in a pool, while watching planes take off and land at the same time. Dubai airport also offers a large leisure centre for a fee. This centre includes a swimming pool, gym, Jacuzzi, sauna and showers.
Want to watch an exciting movie while waiting for your flight? This opportunity is offered by Hong Kong International Airport, where it is possible to watch all of the latest films in IMAX. Movie theatres can be found in Prague airport, Seoul airport and Singapore’s Changi airport.
If you want to have some exercise while waiting for your flight, you can go ice-skating in the Ice Forest of Seoul Incheon Airport.
Visit an art gallery:
Multiple airports around the world offer customers to visit art galleries. This opportunity is provided by Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, Amsterdam Schiphol airport and San Francisco International Airport.
Go to a library:
You can avoid the business of life at airports by going to a library – it can be found in Tallinn airport and Amsterdam Schiphol airport. Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport even offers a selection of electronic books.
If you want to enjoy peace and quiet before departing, Dubai airport has the perfect place. The airport’s Zen Garden as a natural oasis where time stops. Singapore’s Changi airport has a wonderful butterfly garden and an indoor waterfall. Vancouver airport has a special aquarium that has nearly 500 marine animals on display. Kuala Lumpur airport offers its visitors a walk in a jungle.
Forget about stress and rush:
Dubai airport puts passengers first. There are plenty of different places where they can rest and recover. Special peace rooms are offered to passengers for a fee (for one hour). In those rooms, passengers can watch television or listen to relaxing music.
Maybe a relaxing SPA is exactly what you needs to rest before a flight. Kagoshima airport in Japan offers passengers free warm leg baths. Although multiple airlines offer similar services to business clients, some airports around the world offer free SPA to all passengers.

Have a rest in a five-star hotel:
This particular service is available at Dubai airport, where a certain five-star hotel can be found. If there is a lot of time before departure, passengers can go to one of many hotel rooms available around the airport. Once there, passengers can enjoy exquisite meals in restaurants.
