Weather in Latvia to be characteristically autumn-like and warm in Latvia

Even on Thursday weather in Latvia will be pleasantly warm, for autumn. Wind will turn up from the north; its speed will be close to 2 m/sec. Air temperature will reach +17° C at day, according to Gismeteo.lv.

There will be clouds in Valmiera, however. In spite of cloudiness, no precipitation is expected. Air temperature in the morning will be around +11° C. Throughout the day, it will likely reach +16° C. Morning hours in Daugavpils will have clear sky. Clouds will appear in the second half of the day. They will remain until evening. No precipitation is expected. Air temperature will warm up to +11° C in morning hours and +17° C in the afternoon.

Weather will be cloudy and dreary on Friday. Nevertheless, precipitation is not likely. Air temperature may reach +17° C. There will be clouds in Riga in morning hours. They will remain for the whole day. Air temperature in the morning will be within +10° C…+12° C. In the afternoon, however, air temperature will reach +17° C. Wind speed will reach 3 – 4 m/sec. Similar weather is forecasted for Valmiera – dreary, cloudy and without precipitation. Air temperature will be +10° C at night and +16° C at day. Latvia’s southern parts will be no exception: air temperature in Daugavpils will be +10° C at night and up to +15° C at day.

On the night to Saturday and early in the morning, the sky will be covered with clouds, which will disperse later on. Sunny weather will remain in Riga up until late evening. Some rain may come down in the afternoon. Air temperature at night and morning hours will range within +12° C…+13° C. During the day, air temperature may reach +17° C…+18° C.

The week will conclude with nice weather. On Sunday, Riga and Valmiera will experience a mix of sunny and cloudy weather. Some rain may come in the afternoon. Air temperature will be +12° C at night and +18° C at day in Riga. For Valmiera, air temperature at night will range within +10° C…+11° C and up to +17° C at day. Wind speed will not exceed 5 m/sec. Latvia’s southern parts will see more sunlight than the country’s central parts. Major cloudiness in Daugavpils will only remain for morning hours. The sky will become clear in the middle of the day. The Sun will shine for the rest of the day, however. Air temperature will remain at +12° C at night and +16° C at day, according to forecasts.
