May 25, 6.30pm

Bubble the City; Lukiškių Square, Vilnius;

Burbuliatorius (Bubble your City) is an annual and periodic urban event, which takes place in different world cities at the same day, every second Monday, at 6.30pm local time throughout the summer. The aim of the event is to revitalize forgotten or inactive public spaces and to encourage citizens to explore the potential of public spaces by developing non-commercial scenarios of their use and sharing the local experience with other cities.

May 25-31:

International Poetry festival «Poetry Spring»; various Vilnius venues;

«Poetry Spring» is an international poetry festival, taking place annually, organized by Lithuanian writers’ union and Writers’ club. In various spaces Lithuanian poets and foreign guests, as well as actors will be reading poems or just brief stanzas peppered with on-spot discussions and communication with the audience. May 28-31:

International Folklore Festival «Skamba, skamba kankliai»; various Vilnius venues;

Since 1973 International folklore festival «Skamba skamba kankliai» has taken place during the last week of May for years. During the festival, the courtyards of the old town are occupied by lovers of folk art. Everyone can sing, dance and have a good time in a cheerful crowd. Concerts take place in old town courtyards and concert halls.

May 29-31:

The summer of Trakai 2015; the town of Trakai;

The Summer of Trakai 2015 is a festival of this medieval town. It is held for the residents of the city as well as guests and tourists from abroad. The festival typically features sports, culture and children’s events as well as the City Hall market, where craftsmen and folk artists present their art ware. The evening concert with famous Lithuanian performers of pop, jazz, rock and other styles of music ends the festival.

May 29-30:

International Wine Fair «Vyno Dienos»; Exhibition and Convention Centre «Litexpo» (Laisvės ave. 5, Vilnius).

The wine fair «Vyno dienos» is considered to be the biggest wine event in the Baltic States, which attracts around 4000 visitors. Lithuanian wine importers, wineries from all over the world present their wines for the professionals and amateurs.

May 29, 6pm

Kaunas street art festival «Nykoka 2015» (Laisvės ave., Kaunas)

The art project aims to fill up inactive and derelict city’s areas with action and life. The organizers hope it will help to draw the new local authority’s attention to the problem and foster a change regarding the areas in the city policies.

May 30, 1 pm

Biker nights 2015; Urmas little town (Pramones ave. 16, Kaunas);

An open bikers’ get-together and stunts show.

June 1, 7pm

Vilnius Festival; Vilnius concert halls;

The Vilnius Festival is considered to be one of the most prestigious, solid and versatile classical music events in Lithuania and a major summer destination for music-lovers during the hottest tourist season. With primary interest in presenting classical music, performed by the established soloists, ensembles and symphony orchestras from all over the world, the Vilnius Festival also continues to promote contemporary Lithuanian music by commissioning new large-scale works, and offers a platform for jazz and musical theatre. The year’s programme includes dozens of inside and open air concerts for lovers of all genres.

June 1, noon

Sunday is a day of sport,  Gediminas Ave, Vilnius.

Already from early May till autumn Gediminas’ avenue has become an excellent zone for every habitant of Vilnius and city guest to spend the leisure time, where everybody can go in for sports, play various games and just have a wonderful Sunday afternoon. In Gediminas’ avenue one will be able to learn from now on not only how to dance, to get to know the subtleties of various martial arts techniques, participate in each time different work-outs, exercises, but together with your friends and family you can also play badminton, table football, tennis and try many other programs, which every Sunday will be different.
