New car registrations - 2nd fastest in EU

Baltic news, News from Latvia, BNN-NEWS.COM, BNN-NEWS.RUThe number of new cars registered in the territory of Latvia accounts for the second fastest climb in the EU, totalling 125%, according to European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) report, which comprises all EU member states, except for Cyprus and Malta, but includes Switzerland, Norway and Iceland.

774 new cars were registered in Latvia in May, compared to 344 cars in the same period in 2010.

New car registrations spiked the fastest in Iceland – 172.3%.

Estonia reports 103.8% growth, accounting for the third most rapid climb, while Lithuania ranks the fourth with car registrations surging 89.7%.

1248 and 1567 new cars were registered in Lithuania and Estonia, respectively.

The greatest drop in registrations was registered in Portugal – 23.6%, Spain – 23.3% and Greece – 15.5%.

1 252 599 new cars were registered in total, which is 7.6% more than in the same month a year before.

    First, this probably isnt the right area to post this. Sorry, but im desperate. You guys seem to be knowelgeable with computer related stuff. We have a credit card terminal and everything was working perfect until we went from roadrunner cable to DSL. Our credit card terminal now will NOT connect through ethernet..only dial up. We have checked our router that it is plugged into and the port is flickering so we know its connected. All of our desktops connect to the internet all day long without issues .Anyone have any ideas!?!? Thanks in advance!
