Legislators propose changing penalties for speed limit violations

Fines for violating speed limits will be differentiated in more detail. Sanctions for small violations will be reduced. Penalties for more serious speed limit violations will be increased. This is provided by amendments to the Latvian Code of Administrative Violations proposed by the Saeima Legal Affairs Committee.
