Manufacturing volume output in Latvia increases 2% in 2019

Compared to 2018, manufacturing volume rose by 2 %, based calendar adjusted data at constant prices in 2019. Mining and quarrying decreased by 5 %, electricity and gas supply – by 4.4 %, but industrial production output, which includes previously mentioned sectors grew by 0.8 %.

Producer price level in Latvia’s industry declines 1.1% in December

In December 2019 the level of producer prices in the Latvian industry has reduced by 0.4 %. The level of prices of products sold on the domestic market has dropped by 0.2 %, and prices of exported products by – 0.6 %.

Estonian producer price index decreased in 2019

Estonia’s producer price index of industrial output decreased from December 2018 to December 2019 by 1.2%, the country’s official statistical body Statistics Estonia estimated.

Industrial production output in Latvia decreases 0.2% in 2019

Compared to November 2018, industrial production output fell by 0.2 % in November 2019. That was affected by output drop in manufacturing by 0.8 % and in mining and quarrying by 16.9 %, while in electricity and gas supply there was an increase of 3.9 %.

Producer price level in Latvia's industry decrease 0.4%

Compared to October, the level of producer prices in Latvian industry dropped by 0.1 % in November 2019. The level of prices of products sold on the domestic market dropped by 0.5 %, however prices of exported products increased by 0.3 %.

Estonian industrial production decreases, electricity down by 43%

In Estonia, the production volume of industrial companies has dropped by five percent on year, according to official statistics.

Latvia’s industrial production output up 2% in August

Compared to August 2018, industrial production output1 increased by 2 % in August 2019 according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices.
