Child vaccination: Lithuanian legislators back mandatory vaccines

In Lithuania, legislation to make child vaccines against polio, measles and rubella mandatory has received the support of the Seimas in the first vote.

135 000 doses of flu vaccines to be delivered to Latvia this week

A total of 135 000 flu vaccine doses will be delivered to Latvia this year. This is 45% more than the amount of does administered in Latvia in 2018, as reported by State Agency of Medicines representative Dita Okmane.

Influenza season begins in Latvia as first patients appear

At the beginning of October Latvia’s Disease Control and Prevention Centre registered the first influenza cases this year even though overall flu intensity in Latvia remains very low, as confirmed by SPKC communication office head Ilze Arāja.
